Origin Story

In 1999, Mark Mueller (photo right) founded Botanic Oil Innovations with a mission: to create natural antioxidant supplements, skin care and medical products that will help people all over the world live longer, healthier lives. Mark took a cold-press process that was initially being used in other applications, improved it, and applied the technology to extract natural oils from fruit and plant seeds. The result was the NatureFRESH Cold-Press™ process, which is able to create super-potent antioxidant oils and Nutri-powders. However, it wasn't until he found an equally innovative figure, Dr. Arnold Leonard (photo left), that he became aware of the full potential of these products.

Dr. Leonard is a respected traditional physician who has made significant contributions to the advancement of modern medicine throughout his career. For more than 30 years, he served as Professor of Surgery at the University of Minnesota medical school. Ten years ago, he shifted his focus from pediatric surgery to cancer research and has made remarkable developments in the field.

When Dr. Leonard learned about the supposed health benefits of Mark's natural antioxidant oils, the traditional physician inside him was skeptical. As fate would have it, the pioneering researcher within him urged him to be open-minded. He received samples of Immuno-Viva® Core from Mark and began conducting laboratory studies. The results were astounding. Being a true skeptic, Dr. Leonard raised an eyebrow and repeated the experiment to see if it was an anomaly. The results were consistent.

Over time, Dr. Leonard and his colleague Dr. Dan Saltzman, the chief of pediatric surgery at the University of Minnesota medical school, developed an extensive body of research on Immuno-Viva's natural antioxidant supplements, and their skepticism was overcome.
